Lake District Wedding MC Entertainer and Uplighting Package for Hannah and Stuart – 1st June 2013
Hannah and Stuart booked me for a full day wedding package, and said they wanted a good fun day. Hannah had met me at the Armathwaite Hall wedding fayre in November 2012, and approached me as we had been recommended by a previous bride and groom. From the initial conversation I know she and Stuart wanted a day of fun, and laughter from the very start of the wedding breakfast. In our initial meeting we also decided that I was going to uplight the marquee in the blue wedding colours. The marquee was 40 meters by 9m so it would take some doing, and setting up, but, anything can be done!
So between the three of us, we planned a day of entertainment with myself being the toastmaster / Mc. I class myself as a ‘wedding mc entertainer’, and this wedding in the Lake district was going to be a fantastic event, with 250 guests for the wedding breakfast!
I don’t like to give too much away as all my ideas and suggestions for the day are unique to myself, and always personalized to the bride and groom, to give a bespoke wedding, but let’s say, WOW what a day. At one point, between the main meal and desert, the whole room, and I mean whole room, was stood on their chairs, having a singalong, even the staff got involved.
Hannah and Stuart had the best day ever, and then the surprise of Billy West appearing, as Freddie Mercury topped it off! We partied hard into the early hours of the morning. Complete with Adam the lake district wedding photographer, and his amazing pictures, the day was complete.
